Announcements

• Score from tests and assignments available in Blackboard
• In case that your score on your list and in the system do not match, please let me know so I can correct the mistake.
• If you cannot participate in the class, you can email me scan of your work BEFORE the class.
• There will be some programming HW. In Sage . You can use it online or download to you computer. It is built on Python.
• My favourite solver is APMonitor , because it is online and super easy to use.
• Other usefull books: Combinatorial optimization, Linear programming, Discrete Geometry
• For ordering MyCopy version of the textbook, you may need its ISBN number, which is 978-3-642-24489-6.

Exams (tentative schedule)

I plan take home exams. Unlike hw, no collaborating.

Bonus rules

• You may collaborate on solving the homework. However, every student is required to type the solution (her/him)self.
• HW will be graded by Kevin Moss, Exams will be graded by Kevin and Bernard together such that grading of people related to me is avoided.
• Grading will be double checked by Ryan Martin.
• Final grade assignment will be checked by Ryan Martin.
